Anton Heijs - Treparel Information Solutions B.V.

After his PhD in computation physics from the Delft Technical University, Anton Heijs started a consultancy group focusing on information visualization and data mining. He started Treparel in 2005 with the focus to develop the KMX software for the analysis of table and text data using machine learning and visualization techniques. In the beginning of the company his focus was the R&D related to the KMX software and the client needs which changed to overall management of Treparel's activities.

Treparel Information Solutions is an innovative Dutch software company based in Delft. Treparel's KMX software allows clients to analyze large complex document sets. The KMX Patent Analytics software enables large corporate clients to automatically classify and cluster patents and perform landscape analysis. The KMX software is also used to analyze research literature (such as the 20M pubmed articles) or legal and news literature. Treparel's focus markets range from text/data mining to big data analytics solutions in Europe and the US.
