MAREC Statistics
MAREC contains all US, European and Japanese patents from some time in the 1970s to the end of June 2008.
For US, EP and WO, there are applications and granted patents, for JP only applications. Whether there are only bibliographic data or also an abstract or the whole description and claims present, in general follows a pattern depending on the country, year and kind code, but there are some irregularities.
